Homework 7 and 8

Our 7th and 8th graders will have weekly assignments in their test prep books. Please check your students planner and ask them about all of the strategies they are learning! Students also need to turn in a reading log every Friday. Please ask your student about what they're reading and discuss their books with them to help foster an importance and love fore reading. 7th grade fieldwork prep

Our 7th graders are hard at work researching their local abolitionist sites in preparation for our upcoming fieldwork on the 14th and 17th. Please make sure your child has his or her permission slip turned in!

8th grade kickoff fieldwork at the Palace Theater

Our students kicked off our expedition grappling with the level of sacrifice and the need for honor by watching Saving Private Ryan at the Palace Theater. Our students are building valuable background knowledge and preparing for veteran interviews!
